Introduction When a multi-family property (apartment) has an emergency, such as a fire, flood, or noticeable mold growth, we assist the property managers, maintenance teams, and asset managers by getting those units back online so they continue to be rentable and so the residents of those units have a livable home. Apartment Restorers was established in 2008 because our parent company, Apartment Turnovers (ATI) kept having requests for water, fire, and mold damage restoration. With our specialized trainings and certifications in water, fire, mold, and biohazard emergencies, in addition to the apartment turn service, both companies can now be a true partner to our property managers and asset managers through the entire life of the property. Our reputation in the industry is that we respond quickly, we do what we say, and we are honest and reliable. The core values that drive our culture are: Hard Work Eager To Help Resourceful Honest Do What You Say In addition to our core business of water, fire, and mold restoration, we also service our clients by increasing their property values through renovation of units (usually after a property ownership or management change) and standard maintenance teamwork duties such as dryer vent and duct cleanings, maintenance ticket management, and property improvements in the capital expenditures category. The Position The Operations Manager will report to the Managing Director, located at the Rockville headquarters. This is a leadership / management role with 10-20 direct reports who have 5-10 trucks plus 10-20 indirect reports. The Operations Manager would: Manage jobs and employees by creating an environment where people want to stay/thrive. Provide great quality and reliable services to our clients. Duties include: Account management Production Staff Management and Development Job management, estimating, and administration Client Satisfaction Safety Training The requirements for this role include demonstrated work experience with on-call responsibilities. To clarify, water, fire, and mold restoration issues at Apartment Restorers frequently require immediate response to a property-related emergency which can occur anytime day or night. We need someone with the work experience of being on-call to having responded day or night. We are looking for someone who has experienced handling some type of property emergency/property disaster such as fire, mold, and water damage OR has experience with property large-loss recovery. Apartment Restorers is in a growth focus phase. The company is well-positioned to respond to emergencies and then execute on the repair work needed. The Apartment Restoration business is first based upon the development of a relationship with key decision-makers. The true sale is made with that relationship development. Then when an emergency happens at any hour of the day or night, the key decision-maker is making their call to the relationship they trust to handle the emergency and make the problem go away . Current annual sales projections are for $14 Million with growth over the next five years to $20-30 Million. ARL has reached as much as $11.9 Million previously, confirming that the right focus on growth will drive more revenue. One you have viewed the video, Click here to apply Requirements for this Role: Valid US driver s license with a clean driving record No US citizenship is required but required to have valid work authorization in US Min 2 years of demonstrated experience managing at least 10 employees at multi-location worksites Demonstrated experience in handling property disaster ( fire, mold, water damage), property large loss recovery, and or project management within construction Demonstrated experience writing estimates preferably using estimating software Xactimate Restoration industry-related certifications preferred Detail-oriented self-starter with outstanding communication, organization, and people skills Strong planning and time management Excellent work ethic and quality improvement orientation Strong working knowledge of computers with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) Compensation for ARL s Operations Manager This is a performance/rewards role. Total compensation is base salary, on-call bonus plus performance bonus.
