This individual will support the design, development, and integration of mixed operating system (Linux, Windows) development laboratories for the Remote Sensing Programs (RSP) Business Unit in

Linthicum, MD .Responsibilities include:The selected individual will be the lead for the RSP Space Development Lab Network, and will be responsible for administration, maintenance, and compliance of the network. These duties will include:Management of network topology, inventory, and configurationProject management for defining and implementing upgrades to the IT environmentPerforming new server buildsScripting to optimize IT environmentLevel 3 support for system configuration, setup, and requested baseline configuration changesTechnical leadership of level 2 support personnelAssisting in the resolution of computer problems beyond the knowledge of engineering staffQualified candidates must demonstrate a blend of engineering, advanced technical skills, and excellent communication abilitiesBasic Qualifications:Principal Systems Administrator:

6 Years of relevant experience with Bachelor's; 4 Years with Master's. Will consider 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of degreeSr. Principal Systems Administrator:

1 0 Years of relevant experience with Bachelor's; 8 Years with Master's. Will consider 14 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearanceExperience with Windows, RHEL, and virtualizationExperience with software development labs, software/hardware integrationExperience with multi-site network layout, setup, and configurationPreferred Qualifications:Active TS/SCI clearanceESXi and VMWare experience (VM creation, vCenter/vSphere management)Familiarity with NIST 800-171 network complianceActive COMPTIA Security + CertificationCISSP certification, RedHat certification(s)Salary Range:

$93,000 - $139,600Salary Range 2:

$115,400 - $173,200The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
