Innova Solutions seeks a Web Developer for a client in Alexandria VATitle: Web DeveloperPosition Type: Contract-to-HireDuration: 6-month - Contract-to-hireLocation: Hybrid. Start onsite in Alexandria VirginiaMust have a Secret Clearance. Newer initiative for the DOD - Data Collection, Reporting Analytical Applications, supplementary data including the data structure is a big part of this contract as well as programming and design skills with WCF, REST/SOAP, VB.NET, etc.Job Description:Design and develop web sites based on approved customer objectives.Propose web site strategies and create action plans and applications to carry out strategies and accomplish objectives.Customize web-based interactive features and build database gateways.Perform basic analysis of alternatives, systems design, integration, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.Prepare associated documentation, block diagrams, Sequence diagrams and logic flowcharts. Familiar with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) 2.0 Process DiagramsPrepare sample test data, conduct program tests, and analyze test results; recommend corrections for debugging program errors.Modify existing programs as required by changing system requirements or equipment configurations.Confer with systems personnel to clarify program intent, output requirements, and input data acquisition.Design, develop, and analyze software programs.Maintain database compliance, which includes coordinating and ensuring product cybersecurity compliance.Work in an IT development environment focused on engineering analysis and creation of technical solutions for DoD clients.Design, implement, and test features of complex information systems that provide Business Intelligence solutions with focus on performance, scalability, and security.Required Experience/Skills:A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline and at least four (4) years of relevant experience or a master's degree with two years of specialized experience.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply these skills to identify and resolve anomalies in system design, as well as in system functionality and performance.Ability to successfully interface with many levels of client management, set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and integrate well with an established development team.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Clearance RequirementInterim DoD Secret Clearance.Certification Requirement:DoD 8570.01-M Level II IA certification (Security+) or able to obtain within 30 days of start.PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:Pay Range*: $40-52/hr W2*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Innova Solutions offers benefits( based on eligibility) that include the following: Medical & pharmacy coverage, Dental/vision insurance, 401(k), Health saving account (HSA) and Flexible spending account (FSA), Life Insurance, Pet Insurance, Short term and Long term Disability, Accident & Critical illness coverage, Pre-paid legal & ID theft protection, Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).ABOUT INNOVA SOLUTIONS: Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Innova Solutions employs approximately 50,000 professionals worldwide and reports an annual revenue approaching $3 Billion.
