Job description
Perform routine maintenance functions and adjustments on all types of heavy-duty diesel equipment, forklifts, and trailing equipment in compliance with the manufacturer, DOT, and company schedules Apply knowledge and work by DOT, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Interstate Authority, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other rules and regulations, as required Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance, including inspecting and performing work in, on or under parts of vehicles and trailers Repair or rebuild equipment systems Conduct safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation Move trailers throughout the property, operating a hostler in all types of weather Enter job times and parts on repair orders to track activity Operate specialized tooling and vehicles Ensure the work area is always clean, safe, and organized Interact with operations and shop management Mechanic Apprentices are required to: Lift objec...Mechanic, Apprentice, Automotive, Equipment
