Job description

A strong opportunity with a big Ohio-based GC that is rapidly expanding their Columbus office. The position has an incredible team in place with a company that has an incredible pipeline.

Description

  • Handle all aspects of estimating and project management (PMs, Engineers, and Preconstruction teams)
  • Meeting with clients during multiple phases of the project - proposals, kick off, updates, closing, and new business opportunities
  • Traveling to job sites periodically to check in on status
  • Reviewing proposals, schematics, and other project documents to assess potential setbacks or risks to the projects
  • Client relations will be an important part of this role
  • Analyze current internal processes to see if there are more efficient routes of scheduling, budgeting, or workforce distributing
  • Utilize project management and estimating software to review updates and changes
  • Assisting in hiring processes

Profile

  • Minimum 10 years of experience within the general contractor construction space
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience on projects $5M +
  • 5+ years of experience in an operational leadership position
  • Current position is a director role or similar
  • Experience working on commercial, healthcare, multifamily and higher education projects
  • Capable of multitasking & wearing multiple hats
  • Travel as needed to job sites
  • Experience with Quickbids, PROCORE, Miscrosoft platforms

Job Offer

  • Base salary of $175,000 - $200,000
