Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week contract position in Frederick, MD. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing top-notch patient care and will be flexible with shift availability, including days, evenings, and nights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist in patient assessments and contribute to care plans.
• Perform wound care, administer injections, and manage IVs.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-treatment care.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to provide holistic patient care.

Qualifications:

• Active LPN State License.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
