Health Sciences Technology Developer and Analyst

Department:

ERIK | Technology Commercialization

Health Sciences Technology Developer and Analyst is responsible for supporting the venture development team as well as licensing officers or senior licensing officers within the ERIK Innovation and Commercialization's Health Sciences Innovation (HSI) team under the direction of the AVP, Health Sciences. Works closely with both their manager, Venture team and the licensing officers in HSI in identifying technologies for commercial applications, evaluating the commercial potential of technologies, identifying potential licensees, preparing non-confidential technical information for marketing purposes, developing and implementing specific marketing strategies for each technology. The Tech Developer receives significant coaching from senior members of the HSI team and oversight to help them advance their knowledge and experiences.

Additional Information:

Required Education

Bachelor's degree in STEM field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years relevant working experience. Has the ability to work in a complex organization and further the goals and objectives of technology commercialization at The Ohio State University. Embraces data-driven decision-making. The target salary range for this position is $55,100 - $72,400. The actual offer within this range will depend on the candidates experience, education, peer equity, and budget.
