Job Description
We are looking for a mission-driven professional with a Top-Secret clearance to join our team as aSystems Administrator 2near Stafford/Fredericksburg, VA.As a Systems Administrator 2, you will:
+ Join an already established team with an opportunity to grow.
+ Support a Department of Justice, FBI program, who designs, builds, and implements highly technical data collection systems.
+ Support a technology lab who dynamically implements technology to meet their outside customers uniquely defined evidence collection needs.
+ Receive robust benefits package that includes Employee Stock Ownership Plan ( ! (ESOP).
+ Provide professional and detailed writing services.
+ Provide administrative support to the Unit Chief and program managers.
A week in the life of a seasoned Systems Administrator 2:
+ Perform basic computer Systems Administration support using your basic understanding of Windows, Linux, VMWare, Hyper-V, Active Directory, Remote Desktop, and etc. in our customers environment.
+ Support direct interface with customers on support needs.
+ Manage and or maintain user configurations.
+ Support basic computer problem identification, and perform equipment repairs as necessary.
+ Provide basic hardware setup, duplication, updates.
+ Recommends procurement, removals, and modifications to network and system components.
+ Drive engagement with IT Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure secure development and deployment of solutions.
+ Clearly communicates complex technical solutions with stakeholders.
Job Requirements
+ Active Top-Secret Clearance required with the willingness to take an agency CI polygraph when requested.
+ High School Diploma (HS) and 8+ years, Associates Degree (AS) and 6+ years, Bachelors Degree (BS) and 3+ years or Masters Degree (MS) and 2+ years of relevant experience.
+ Effective communications skills and able to effectively brief audiences.
+ Ability to:
+ Organize work so assignments are completed in a timely manner,
+ Perform analysis and quickly resolve issues,
+ Multi-task, and or
+ Take direction from senior team members.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors including relevant experience and permitted by law.
