Has psych patients. Not too many ED holds (rare) and no hallway beds officially. Additional Unit Specific Information: first official Open Heart facility so lots of cardiac patients. Need RNs with Strong Critical Care skills and thinking. Staff is friendly, and like to work. Need a worker-bee here. Stemi and Stroke center, CCL if needed can do from door to 30 minutes. Sees 45,000/ patients/ year. Comment:** Facility will ACCEPT LOCALS for this position. ALL RTO requests must be in the packet at the time of submission. Anything sent after, will not be approved. LOCAL RATE (UNDER 50 MILE RADIUS) $68**Position Description: ER RN - min of 2 years exp required. Shift: 12H Rotating, 11a-11p/3p-3a. Every other weekend required and holidays as needed. Travel experience highly preferred. Patient Ratio 1:4. EMR: Epic. No floating required. Must have strong Cardiac and Critical Care skills.Patient population: Respiratory, Heart, Chest Pain, MI, Stemi, Non Stemi, OH surgical, CCL, Stroke Center, TPA. Less trauma but will have MVA, fractures, etc. Trauma center is 10 minutes away. Psych patients here. Own staff is required to have CPI. Special equipment: Allaris IV pumps, GE DASH monitoring, Vocera Phones Issued, Kronos.Facility bed count: 247. Unit Beds: 40. Scrubs are not provided, must be a professional color. Minimum jewelry and nails must be professional. Required Upon Submission: ACLS, BLS, PALS, & NIHSS are required. Will accept ENPC in place of PALS. Valid MD license verified through NURSYS only. No temp licenses are allowed.COVID vaccine required. Medical Declination accepted, Must have signed and authorized documentation from Physician in packet or submission will be dropped.
