Performs medication order processing responsibilities within established policies, procedures and guidelines and provides drug information while applying a thorough understanding and knowledge of drug and medical therapy . Minimum Education Completion of a five year pharmacy program in an accredited college of pharmacy. (Required) Minimum Work Experience 1 year Pharmacy experience (Required)Functional Accountabilities. Medication Processing Interpret medication orders, profile orders and oversee the packaging, labeling and distribution of medications. Drug Intervention and Education Perform drug therapy monitoring and intervene as necessary on drug dosing, drug administration, drug interactions, side-effects and monitoring issues; complete therapeutic drug monitoring consults and adverse drug reaction reports as assigned.
