People Experience Designer (Video/Graphic Design)

Job description

Company:
Compassus

The People Experience Designer will leverage multimedia elements to craft engaging and dynamic video content that enhances the employee experience journey. This role will focus on utilizing video to represent the company culture, increase engagement, and foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment.

If you're ready to take our onboarding, training, and employee retention strategies to new heights, this is your opportunity. We're assembling a People Experience Design team and are looking for team members who, like us, understand the profound impact of teammate experiences. As a People Experience Designer, you'll be a member of a team that is responsible for developing and implementing innovative learning and development strategies that align with our mission and values. If you believe in the following concepts, we may be your next work-home!
  • Our company culture is not just words on the wall. It's a living, breathing entity that should be experienced in all employee touchpoints - from hiring to retiring.
  • As a touchpoint opportunity, training should be much more than PowerPoint-driven lectures and e-learning modules. They are an opportunity to educate, engage, inspire, and retain our team members to the mission that brought them here in the first place.
  • While training is one type of employee touchpoint, the employee experience comprises multiple touchpoint categories that deserve the same design intentionality as our training programs.
  • While formal training modules are crucial, they only represent a fraction of the learning journey. Most employee learning occurs through informal activities, which require the same level of design attention as formal training.
  • The best experiences are designed with the audience's needs in mind, evolving over time based on feedback and observable results.
  • As the landscape of healthcare and the workplace evolves, so will the need for organizational learning, and we will be ready to adapt and innovate.
  • What is an experience? An employee experience (also called a touchpoint) is a singular point of contact or a collection of contacts between the employee and the organization. Each experience presents an opportunity for the employee to understand the organizational culture and feel the power of belonging. Our training programs are some of the most notable experiences to be designed, such as candidate interviews, job descriptions, mentorship programs, performance review processes, annual increase processes, and the list of touchpoints going on and on within the human resources realm. At Compassus, we want to set a new trend and make each of these touchpoints an opportunity to continue winning the hearts and minds of our team members!

Are you a designer of experiences? We're offering a unique opportunity for People Experience Designers to leverage their skills in a dynamic and innovative environment. We're looking for individuals who appreciate the value of both formal and informal learning.

The right candidates will be obsessed with developing engaging and effective touchpoints. This is a chance to enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall experience within our organization using instructional design principles, creative writing techniques, multi-media design, and adult learning methodologies.

We understand that each team member will have specific areas of expertise, so we are building a design team to work together on various projects.
