• Looking for a seasoned Dynatrace Observability Engineer/Architect. Very senior.
• Needs to have significant experience with Observability, Dynatrace SaaS, APM, DQL, logs on Grail, and dashboarding of Critical Business Processes (preferably with Dynatrace Business Events).
• Moving from on-prem Dynatrace Managed to Dynatrace SaaS. Must have exp with migration from on-prem to Dynatrace SaaS.
• Someone with strong Dynatrace SaaS and DQL BG is most important for this role
• Exp with Critical Business Events/Processes exp would be a huge plus.
• Looking for at least 3 years at the high-level architect role leveraging Dynatrace SaaS, Logs on Grail, APM, DQL and Observability.
• Dynatrace certifications required.
• Day to day: Hands on and providing guidance to the teams. 50/50

Job Description:

JOB TITLE: PRINCIPAL SYSTEMS ENGINEER

PURPOSE: Dynatrace Observability Engineer/Architect

The Dynatrace Observability Engineer/Architect is talented and passionate about Observability and will be responsible for designing and implementing observability solutions that enable proactive and efficient monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting of complex systems, applications, and critical business processes. The successful applicant will have significant experience with Observability, Dynatrace SaaS, APM, DQL, logs on Grail, and dashboarding of Critical Business Processes (preferably with Dynatrace Business Events).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Decomposing business processes into observability requirements
• Develop dashboards for critical business processes leveraging Dynatrace dashboards and/or Dynatrace Business Events on SaaS
• Define and implement the observability strategy and roadmap, aligned with the business objectives and the IT architecture vision.
• Design and develop observability solutions using industry best practices and standards
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the performance monitoring engineers, ensuring the quality and consistency of the observability solutions. This is while executing hands-on and having responsibility for delivery.
