Community-STARs Pediatric Therapy Specialists (C-STARs) is a privately-held, community-focused, pediatric therapy provider specializing in helping children with special needs achieve their full potential in a fun and loving environment, located in Central Virginia. We put the FUN in functional! Our practice is growing. To support this growth, we are adding new therapists to the team! As a full-time, Pediatric Speech Therapist at C-STARS, you have the opportunity to practice in school-based, early intervention, and clinic settings. You must be able to see our clients strengths, what they can do and what they can become! RESPONSIBILITIES: Evaluate and utilize appropriate standardized tests for accurate diagnosis of speech and communication disorders Develop new and modify existing IFSP, IEP and clinic goals Establish treatment goals and implement age-appropriate plans of care Perform daily documentation, update treatment plans, and produce regular progress reports Update client progress to families, school staff and early intervention staff, as appropriate Implement and keep current with evidence-based practices Work with a team of dedicated therapists focusing on Making Everyday Differences in the lives of children and their families!
