Your new company:HAYS are currently recruiting for an established Real Estate Developer/Builder based within the DC district who are looking to invest in a Director of Construction. Depending on the size and complexity of the project, you would either be delivering this project as the general contractor utilizing the internal PM and CM team, or you will be acting as the Owners Representative, managing external general contractors. Successful candidates will be at a Senior Project Manager or equivalent level and have experience in managing high-end single family/custom homes or boutique multifamily projects in the DC area.What you'll need to succeed:10+ years of experience working for a general contractor delivering high-end single family/custom homes or boutique multifamily projects in the DC area.Candidates must have DC area construction experience, outside of the DMV area will not be considered for this opportunity.A 4-year degree is essential, ideally within construction, architecture, business management or could be real estate focused.Comfortable in working in a hands-on Senior Project Manager position on projects whilst the company continues to grow and adds headcount under your leadership.What you'll get in return:Competitive base salary in the range of $140K - $175K depending on experience, a vehicle allowance as well as enrolment into the company bonus program.
