The Service Operations Director is a critical player in the Calvert Operations team, and is ultimately responsible for all service department functions, including talent development, operational execution to ensure continued business growth, maximizing efficiency, and resources utilization through continual process improvements of the operation. The professional will have responsibilities that span across the Calvert Operations and cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of the highest level of quality and safety. The professional shall deliver on hers/his responsibilities in alignment with the direction set by the Vice President of Operations.Provide leadership and management support to the Service DepartmentEnsure department is meeting annual sales and margin goalsSet strategic goals related to improving department performance and efficiency, aligned with the one page plan (OPP)Oversee recruiting and training efforts to meet department needsDevelop highly motivated and effective teamsCollaborate and communicate with company executives to develop and deliver on the OPP, budgets and business plansConduct manager performance reviewsPrepare business plans, budgets and schedulesContinual analysis of department operations looking for areas of improvement and provide managers the resources they needEnsure managers comply with company and legal requirements as well as meeting or exceeding customer expectationsUnderstand conflicts with teams and provide solutionsActively engage in prospecting potential new business or marketsPreferred Qualifications:Familiarity with MCA / PHCC / AIA Guidelines / MAIO / Trade TrendsMinimal of 5 years of proven and successful experience in the construction industry; mechanical preferredVerifiable leadership experience and capabilities, with past successful project executionAbility and desire to work collaboratively to ensure successful project executionUnderstanding of the construction & service mindsetExperience with computer operating systems, such as MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Publisher, MS Planner, MS Teams, MS Schedule, Dropbox, PDF forms & creatorProven ability to generate and deliver reports that provide useful insight into project detailsHighly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectivelyStrong communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to multi-task in a high-paced project environmentAbility to work with budgets and conduct analysis with computing toolsLicensing/Certification:
