We specialize in conducting initial evaluations and providing ongoing services in home, community and clinic settings. It is the reason we will succeed together.Position: Speech Language PathologistLocation: Part Time and Full Time Caseloads available in our clinic located in Fairfax, VAJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Work involves developmental screening/assessment, speech therapy services and consultation with family members and other professionals working with the family.Educate family members and caregivers on different intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over at community settings.Work is performed in clinic based settingsFollow Individualized Service Plan, plan ongoing treatment, and interprets goals and treatment plan to parents and makes recommendations for further developmental assessments as neededParticipate in monthly agency staff meetingPrepares progress reports at six month intervals and annual reviewsMaintains client records and submit them to agency within established deadlines.Other duties assigned by immediate supervisor within scope of work.REQUIREMENTS:Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology1-2 years of experience working with children birth 21 is preferred, we are open to training new graduatesMust possess VA state license to practice Speech TherapyPhysical Requirements:Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases including but not limited to driving personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.The ability to climb and descend staircasesThe ability to lift 10 pounds regularlyThe ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/ or crawl for extended periodsCompensation depends on experience and will be discussed during the interview process.$5,000 sign on bonus included for full time$2,000 sign on bonus included for part timeNTL1This job description is subject to change at any time.
