Job description
Piper Health & Sciences is seeking a Proposal Manager to spearhead the development and implementation of marketing proposals and presentations for an engineering and consulting firm in the Towson, MD area. This is a hybrid role with on-site requirements being 3 days per week.
Responsibilities for the Proposal Manager include:
Review and analyze RFPs to prepare proposal outlines, ensuring compliance with applicable guidelines/regulations.
Engage with professional and community organizations such as the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS).
Develop standard and complex proposals, presentation materials, pursuit plans, client outreach, and other marketing-related efforts promptly and effectively.
Facilitate corporate marketing and proposal development processes, marketing strategies, and production of complex technical proposals.
Manage the production and timely delivery of SOQs/proposals (including editing, graphics, digital and print reproduction) for external clients and customers.
Support business development efforts through new client outreach, producing written and visual presentations for clients, and tracking timelines from start through finish.
Utilize CRM database to maintain company and contact information, opportunity tracking, project information, etc.
Qualifications for the Proposal Manager include:
6-8+ years of experience in professional marketing services.
Experience with software such as InDeisgn, Deltek, and/or Microsoft Office Suite.
Understanding of AEC marketing principals, proposal development, and go/no-go processes is highly preferred.
Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) certification or Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) involvement is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or similar relevant field.
Compensation for the Proposal Manager includes:
Salary Range: approximately $80,000 - $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
