Description
JSL is looking for a B Trade Mid-level Engineer with five to seven (5 to 7) years of Technology and Leadership skills. Well versed in a variety of technologies and at least three to 3 years leading or running projects.
- Proficient and experienced in UNIX or other Unix-based platforms such as Red Hat LINUX.
- Proficient and experienced in midrange systems, multiple operating systems, client/server and Web based technologies.
- Knowledgeable in operating systems supporting the bTrade product suite.
- Proficient and experienced in proactively leading, planning, implementing, and supporting a variety of technology projects from simple to complex.
- Proficient and experienced in implementation of NIST SP-800-53 and 53A controls for building, implementing, and maintaining information systems and security plans.
- Proficient and experienced in operations and maintenance support for midrange and client-based systems.
- Proficient and experienced in understanding data center operations, infrastructure management, technical solutions for hosting and management of systems including, but not limited to network, disparate IT environments, such a middleware, mainframe, servers, applications, and system security.
- Proficient and experienced in the ability to collaborate with disparate teams to develop solution documentation including but not limited to level of efforts, project definition documents, statement of work documents, project plans, requirements documents.
- Proficient and experienced in the ability to apply Life Cycle Management and Project Management Principles, such as managing scope and schedule, identifying risks as it relates to technical support and solutions, schedule and information technology, and successfully projecting future needs and requirements.
- Attend, support and potentially lead meetings as it relates to technical, process, business needs and requirements, innovation, training, and problem/resolution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in presenting to senior leaders. Ability to interact and communicate with key managers, technical experts at all levels, personnel throughout the organization and external partners.
- Must hold a minimum 6C public trust security clearance granted within the last 3 years.
