Job Description: Tepeyac is seeking an experienced and ARDMS certified OBGYN Sonographer to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will share our commitment to compassionate care and will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations with a high level of technical proficiency and professionalism. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the health and well-being of our patients, from routine prenatal check-ups to complex gynecological assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to transabdominal, transvaginal, and Doppler studies.
• Accurately capture, analyze, and document ultrasound images and findings, ensuring completeness and clarity for physician review.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to interpret ultrasound results and provide a comprehensive overview of patient conditions.
• Educate and support patients throughout their examinations, explaining procedures, answering questions, and addressing concerns with empathy and respect.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment in good working order, troubleshooting and reporting any malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to established protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements, ensuring patient confidentiality and compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Contribute to a positive work environment, supporting team members and participating in continuous professional development.

Qualifications:

• ARDMS certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
• Minimum of 6 months to one year of experience as an OBGYN Sonographer.
• Proficiency in performing and interpreting a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population.
• Commitment to the values and mission of Tepeyac, with a respectful and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred.
