Job Details:

+ Location: Fairfax, VA

+ Start Date: ASAP upon credentialing

+ Duration: Ongoing

+ Schedule: Full Time Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Required Certifications:

+ DEA

+ BLS

+ MOUD certification preferred

+ VA State License

Experience:

+ Minimum 1 year, with Opioid Use Disorder experience

Job Description:

+ Conduct assessments and establish substance use diagnoses using DSM-5 criteria.

+ Perform physical examinations and obtain lab tests to identify and manage comorbidities.

+ Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including the initiation and management of MAT medications.

+ Address and treat acute medical issues and refer patients with chronic conditions to appropriate providers.

+ Conduct follow-up visits and recovery management checkups to optimize patient outcomes.

+ Support effective care transitions to maintain MAT medication regimens.

+ Manage substance intoxication and withdrawal, utilizing SAMHSA guidelines for special populations.

Additional Information:

+ Licensure & Certifications: NP License and DEA Certificate

+ Patient Ratio: Caseload of 60 to 70
