Administrative Assistant - Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs - Georgetown University Job Overview. The Administrative Assistant serves as the first point of contact for the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs, greeting all walk-in traffic, answering phone calls, managing administrative processes, and providing customer service for a variety of functional areas. They serve as a primary (and often first) representative for the Office, and provide a crucial link to the Student Affairs staff, University administrators and their staff, and other individuals and entities, both internal and external to the University.
