As a Senior CNO Hypervisor Engineer, you will be responsible for independent research and development of hypervisor related technologies. You will work on or lead projects related to virtualization including understanding commercial virtualization solutions and developing custom virtualization implementations. This position will require extensive software development, primarily in C, to include low level programming of hardware virtualization extensions found in modern CPUs. You must be able to work independently and in a team when necessary.

CNO Hypervisor Engineer Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Preferred but not required: Master s degree or PhD with an emphasis on virtualization and/or operating systems. Security Clearance
  • Active TS/SCI (or SCI eligible) with the understanding that the candidate will sit through a full scope polygraph in the future. Skill Set
  • Understanding of commercial virtualization technologies, e.g. VMware s ESXi, XEN, Linux/KVM
  • Understanding of Intel and/or AMD hardware virtualization extensions
  • C and/or C++ along with Python software development
  • Experience with the software development process and software development tools such as Git, Make, CMake, Visual Studio, and others.
  • Reverse Engineering of x86/x64 (preferred but not required)
