CompanyOur client is in manufacturing and they are looking for a Sales Director and a true people leader to help mentor and grow the team and to improve revenue. The role reports directly to the President of the companyRole DetailsAs the Director of Sales, you will spearhead and oversee the sales force in attaining revenue objectives and propelling business expansion. Your responsibilities will encompass creating goals and KPIs, cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with key accounts, and ensuring the team meets or surpasses sales quotas. You will also play a pivotal role in identifying new business avenues, broadening our market footprint, and providing guidance and mentorship to the sales team.ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy DevelopmentConceive and implement strategic sales plans to achieve organizational goals and revenue targets.Stay abreast of industry dynamics, competitor activities, and market trends to adapt strategies accordingly.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sales processes, productivity, and performance.Team LeadershipLead, inspire, and manage a high-performing sales team.Provide coaching, mentoring, and training as required.Oversee the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness at each stage.Relationship ManagementEstablish and maintain strong relationships with key clients.Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and generate leads.Data AnalysisAnalyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and sales performance metrics, regularly reporting to the Chief Executive.Cross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate with other departments, including marketing, product development, procurement, and customer service to ensure alignment and support in achieving sales goals.Requirements and QualificationsBA or MA Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field with 10 years of sales experience.Proven track record in sales management, with a demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and achieve targets.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.Effective presentation and communication skills, and the ability to negotiate, influence, and cultivate positive relationships with clients, vendors, and staff.Analytical mindset with proficiency in analyzing sales data, market trends, and performance metrics to make informed decisions.Strategic thinking with a results-oriented mindset, capable of developing and implementing effective sales strategies.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.Strong business acumen and understanding of sales processes, techniques, and best practices.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.Willingness to travel as required.Columbus, OH, USOn-SiteJune 3rd, 2024ManufacturingVaco$ 150000.00 - 250000.00 yearlydirect hire
