Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Support the development of software structures, hardware, and computing systems, and their integration.
2. Assist in developing and implementing technology solutions to resolve technical challenges.
3. Aid in managing software implementation projects, under supervision.
4. Assist in programming to implement new programs, following established guidelines.
5. Support software testing, code optimization, and software debugging efforts.
6. Participate in system analysis to detect performance issues, providing feedback and assistance as required.
7. Contribute to the evaluation of current computer systems, identifying areas for improvement or overhaul.
8. Assist in updating, adding new hires, and rebooting servers to support network maintenance activities.
9. Aid in reviewing system and application logs, verifying completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.
10. Support the analysis of network and server resource consumption and assist in controlling user access.
11. Participate in the installation, upgrade, and maintenance of software, under supervision.
12. Assist in maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments, including hardware and software configurations.
13. Provide support for data backups and participate in disaster recovery operations.
14. Assist in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, or other network and system problems, under guidance.
15. May be required to travel occasionally to support projects (up to 10%).
16. Any other duties as required.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
2. One to two years of relevant experience is preferred, but recent graduates with internship experience or relevant coursework will be considered.
3. Basic programming and scripting knowledge is desirable.
4. Familiarity with planning, configuring, testing, and monitoring new systems is a plus.
