We are currently hiring for: Accounts Payable Manager
The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for all areas associated with the processing of accounts payable and related month end close processes. The Accounts Payable Manager supervises a team of 4 and is responsible for managing the team to ensure work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities:
Leading the daily accounts payable operations.
Managing the accounts payable team to ensure work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsible for the reconciliation, transmission, and upload of corporate card transactions.
Cross-trains team in various AP related software and processes.
This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounts payable activities.
Ensures the accuracy and timeliness for reporting of all accounts payable monthly financial information.
Ensures all financial reporting deadlines are met.
Works with each direct report to establish goals and objectives then monitor and advise on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff.
Manage weekly and off cycle check and ACH/Wire pay runs, ensuring payments are approved in accordance with company policies and internal controls.
Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and integrity.
Requirements:
4+ years of accounts payable leadership.
Intermediate level of Microsoft Products (MSW, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook
Customer focused and have strong problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements.
Excellent customer service skills
Strong research and analytical abilities
Attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Must be a team player
Strong communicator both written and via phone.
Strong organizational skills
Candidate must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug and background screen.
