Job Description Sellers & Associates, LLC (S&A) is seeking a Data Analyst / Project Manager to work on our client's site in Washington, DC.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in Developing, implementing, and maintaining a leading-edge analytics system. You will work closely with clients and project managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs to deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers. Job Responsibilities: Perform data mining to extract useful information from large datasets. Develop predictive and descriptive models to support business decision-making. Utilize data visualization tools to present data in an easily understandable format for stakeholders. Create interactive dashboards and reports to communicate key findings and insights. Collect, compile, track, and manage program data calls from Project Managers. Provide senior leadership with sound analysis to facilitate data-driven decisions. Perform quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) of project schedules and dashboards. Proactively develop strategies to mitigate potential risks. Develop and maintain databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary sources. Build scripts to enhance the flexibility and scalability of data evaluation processes across various datasets. Job Requirements: 3+ Years of experience with developing, assessing and managing project schedules. 3+ years of experience in applying Data Mining and Data Modeling 3+ years of experience with Oracle Primavera Strong understanding of Project Management concepts, including Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Experience in QA/QC of project schedules and dashboards. Hands on experience with data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Visio, SQL, or VBA Experience in applying complex mathematical and statistical concepts. Experience employing spreadsheets for data manipulation and visualization. Working knowledge of schedule risk analysis, critical path analysis, and schedule analysis tools. Experience with Data Visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik is HUGE PLUS Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, ODI, InfoSphere is a HUGE PLUS
Must Have: Active SECRET Clearance. Bachelor s degree in mathematics, computer Science or related field. Education may be substitute for experience. Strong SQL or Excel Skills Data mining / modeling and visualization experience
