Job description

Job Summary: The Head of Technology has a key role and is primarily responsible for overseeing both the technical and managerial aspects of the Bank's I.T. Department for the Washington, DC Office.

The duties are to plan, direct and design the organizations IT department while simultaneously managing and supervising the IT team responsible for maintaining that infrastructure. The role must also frequently collaborate with colleagues in different departments as well as oversee other IT employees while reporting to the COO (Chief operating officer).

Job Responsibilities*:

Supervision of IT Team and Technology vendors (Application, Security, helpdesk, and System Administration)

Work closely with the region s CISO to keep the IT environments safe and secure and meeting Part 500 regulatory requirements.

Develop strategies and design for bank s Information Technology within approved budget

Oversee and Manage Technology Infrastructure and Architecture

Coordinating with departments regarding resolution of program issues and implementation of special projects

Configure, Administer, Manage and Monitor: Core Network (Fortinet Firewalls and Forti Analyzer, Dell MC Switches), DELL EMC Storage and Hosts (Compellent), VMWare Virtual Environment (VM s, Hosts, Datastores, Networking, Encryption, Access, SRM, VRealize, etc.), DELL IDPA (backup solution), Endpoint Security system, CCure system, Microsoft 365 Enterprise, ManageEngine systems.

Monitor and maintain network health and security of LAN and WAN for all NBP USA Branches and Datacenters ( Washington DC, Virgina).

Management, Administration and Maintenance of Active Directory, DNS, OU, GPO, Access, and Permissions, AD Connect, Azure AD and Intune.

Service Desk: Provide help desk technical support; user onboarding/offboarding.

Ensure compatibility, functionality, updating and maintenance of all vendors systems and software.

Perform End of Day Processing for E-GIFTS payment and messaging system.

Procurement: Prepare purchase requests for IT related software and hardware products, licensing, subscriptions, warranties, and support as per procurement program, and procedure.

Verify systems to ensure compliance of hardware/software with the organizations Policies and Procedures.

Prepare purchase requests for IT related software and hardware products, licensing, subscriptions, warranties, and support: then present them to the Procurement Committee for approval. .

Assist the COO, CCO and CEO Americas Region with preparation and handling of special projects.

Configure, Administer, Manage and Monitor: Endpoint Protection, Security systems, Application Servers.

Ensure compatibility, functionality, updating and maintenance of all vendors Application systems and software.

Perform system patches (Microsoft and third-party) and updates using patch management procedure and technology.

Perform End of Day Processing for E-GIFTS payment and messaging system.

Manage and maintain the business applications: FIS products: Egifts, Horizon, Prime, FIS AML, Image Center (Fircosoft, FCCM , WorkFusion , iCapture, Surety..etc.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor s Degree.

IT experience minimum of 7 years in Managing, Administering and Directing IT Department, Infrastructure and Systems end-to-end.

Regulatory Knowledge and Experience. (FFIEC, NYDFS, OCC etc.) Skills Required:

Management and Leadership - excellent people skills to effectively manage IT department.

Networking and IT infrastructure with a minimum of 10 years experience.

Extensive Technical Knowledge Must have expertise with no less than 10 years of experience with technologies such as Microsoft, Firewalls and Switches (Fortigate, Dell), ,LAN/WAN Configuration and Management, virtualization, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VMware (VCenter, SRM, ESXi, VRealize), ManageEngine (SDP, ADAudit, ADManager, DSP0, Dell (Compellent, IDPA and EMC Switches).

Communication Skills Stellar communication skills are necessary to strategize, plan and collaborate with colleagues, examiners and third-party vendors.

Extensive experience of working with 3rd party service providers.

Experience and expertise in IT security and Data protection.

Experience and expertise in Cloud and mobile technology.

Availability and ability to travel.

Training Required: Networking, Microsoft and VMware related certifications.
