As the Marketing Specialist, you are responsible for the entirety of strategic development, production and implementation of external marketing and communication initiatives as well as ongoing business development for both Equity and ECS. You are tasked with ensuring appropriate and timely deliverables for sales support, proposals, bids, etc. and marketing communication efforts. These will include, but are not limited to enterprise wide advertising, planning and securing promotional events, PR, social media efforts, trade shows, seminar attendance, and community award entries to promote market-specific business objectives and ensure company branding efforts to target audiences.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute industry-specific marketing, communications, and business development plans to support the business objectives of brokerage, construction, asset management, development and property management divisions
  • Use local competitive, client, and market insights to inform business strategies and optimize impact of marketing spend
  • Oversee the completion of select standard and complex RFP s and client presentations
  • Manage customer relationships through marketing campaigns, email blasts, client appreciation events, surveys, and direct interaction and support
  • Perform the lead writing role in deliverables, drafting original content, rewriting/updating current content and identifying appropriate text, concepts and salient points to all communication that adds value
  • Create and maintain department budget in tandem with company goals and objectives
  • Continuously create original content for a broad audience based on varied research data and present information in clear and compelling manner through online presence, social media, in person presentations and monthly meetings
  • Ensure global company branding standards are applied, and brand positioning is supported for all Equity | ECS activities within the market including internal and external communication, business development and marketing
  • Establish and maintain a working directory of vendors, news publications and local suppliers for all market locations
  • Develop best practices based on industry knowledge and company needs

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a closely related field
  • 8 years prior experience in marketing, advertising or related field
  • Experience collaborating with third party vendors, agencies, publications and partners
  • Knowledge and/or experience working in commercial construction and/or commercial real estate preferred
