Are you an experienced Production Planner/Industrial Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in Columbia, MD? Our client is seeking a Sr. Production Planner/Industrial Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demands and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure materials are available for production as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to address production issues and improve overall workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities and prepare reports for management review.

Qualifications:

Experience

7 years in Production or Materials Planning within a manufacturing environment. Preferably in a low volume prototype manufacturing environment or in Manufacturing/Electromechanical Assembly.

Education

Bachelor s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, and/or Manufacturing. Candidates with an Associate s Degree may be considered if they possess higher levels of experience.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in production planning software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Salary Range:

$79,040 - $93,600 per year (based on experience; higher end of the scale for candidates who exceed requirements)
