Apex has boarded specialists in Surgery, Neurology, Anesthesiology, and Critical Care, along with our Emergency department. We have the space for expansion into Internal Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, and Radiology. We would love to find an Emergency Doctor who works well with others, thrives in a team atmosphere, and wants the opportunity to grow a hospital with a great group of people.

Schedule:

  • 10-hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Night shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus opportunities

Experience:

  • Emergency medicine: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Veterinary experience: 2 years (Preferred)

Qualifications:

  • Must demonstrate a desire to continue learning in veterinary care and participate in leading staff training when needed
  • Knowledge of medical equipment (e.g. X-ray machines) and anesthesia procedures
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain medical terms and conditions using simple language
  • Availability to take evening, overnight, or weekend shifts in cases of emergency
  • Patience, a sense of humor, and a love for animals
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree

Ability to Relocate:

  • Silver Spring, MD: Relocate before starting work (Required)
