Description/Job SummaryThis position is responsible for tracking and collecting delinquencies for TPA (Third Party Administrators) accounts. This position will include delinquencies and audits. The incumbent works closely with the Collections Manager, Contributions Department, TPA Administrative office staff, Employers, District Council/Local Union Representatives, and Pension Fund Liaisons.The incumbent works with minimal instruction/supervision and must be able to multitask and prioritize a wide variety of assignments. The incumbent will be the focal point for responsibilities as designated by the Collections Manager. The candidate must be well organized and exercise the ability to work independently and collaboratively.Responsibilities/DutiesResponsible for monitoring all Employer TPA AccountsContact TPA regarding missing monthly work reports and non-paymentsMonitor Employer Payment Agreements for payment and current reportsSends monthly Delinquency Reports to District CouncilsResponsible for generating all collection letters to delinquent EmployersAssists in the preparation of the Delinquency Report for Sub-Committee and BOTResponsible for the data entry of any hours not reported by the TPAResearches and balances all delinquent accountsReview of data files received from the TPA for delinquenciesReviews all monthly status reports from TPAAnswer incoming calls from Employers and TPAsProvides good telephone skills in assisting members and Union RepresentativesAttends Local and TPA Committee Meetings via zoomWorks closely with Attorneys, Auditors, and Pension Fund Liaisons on delinquency mattersWill be responsible for updating all Employer demographic informationComplete special projects as requested by supervisorOther duties as assignedRequired SkillsExcellent customer service and written and oral communications skillsExcellent time management, organization, and coordination skillsAbility to juggle multiple responsibilitiesDisplay discretion and maintain confidentiality of information both internally and externallyFunction with a high level of attention to detailSkilled in the use of personal computers and general office software productsDeliver basic problem solving and prioritization skillsAbility to resolve problems independentlyPunctuality and good attendance requiredProfessional appearance and demeanor requiredFoster teamwork and display a positive attitudeRespectful of others in the workplaceExhibit productive mannerismsRequired ExperienceComputer literacy requiredIntermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Web Browser, and EmailPreferred ExperiencePrior experience processing TPA files preferredPrior benefits or pension office experience preferredUnion experience preferred but not requiredRequired EducationCollege level education and/or a minimum of (3) year's office experience to include accounting backgroundDetailsNormal office environment.Lifting of light boxes may be required in the course of organizing, scanning, and copying work in the office.Forty (40) hours constitutes the regular workweek. The workday consists of eight (8) hours with a half an hour (h) or one (1) hour unpaid lunch break. The office incorporates optional flex start times, which begin at 7:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. The office is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Business casual dress code.COMPENSATION LEVEL: Labor Grade 4
