If that sounds like you, we re looking forward to getting to know you!POSITION OVERVIEW:The AVTEC Integration Tech is tasked with integrating systems into complex customer operational environments and interfacing with customers via telephone and in person to analyze and resolve technically complex problems. The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Prepare and configure Scout for integration into complex customer systems.Complete integration, commissioning, and testing of Scout in complex customer systems.Able to connect IP endpoints (talkgroups) from MOTOTRBO systems to AvtecKnowledge of land mobile radio dispatch or public safety radio dispatch centersPrepares and configures Scout for integration into complex customer systemsCompletes integration, commissioning, and testing of Scout in complex customer systemsDetermines the most cost-effective repair/resolution to minimize customer downtimeEnters and tracks issues in a tracking database, keeping customers apprised of work status, and drives all issues to closureRelays detailed instructions to customers and interprets technical documentsProvides after-schedule support on an as-needed basisCoordinates design of subsystems and integration of total systemJOB SUMMARY:Confers with other teams to clarify/resolve problems and develop corrective actionsTravel to support Avtec setup, configuration, and screen builder changes at security events up to week-long several times per year and a multi-week event annuallyDELIVERABLES:Avtec Scout integrated, commissioned, and tested in customer systemsCost-effective issue resolutions to minimize customer downtimeDetailed customer communications on issue status and resolutionsCoordinated subsystem designs and total system integrationProblems clarified, corrected, and improved through cross-functional collaborationOngoing systems-level development and testing as neededDocumentation for complex LMR-ROIP-Avtec technical configurationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Full complement of AVTEC training, including the Scout 300 level course.Attend AVTEC s annual refresher course.Certified in building screens in Avtec Scout consoles DESIRED:Familiarity with Salesforce software and sales tools to track activities, manage leads, andgenerate reports.Understanding of Public Safety Radio systems is preferred.
