About the Role:

We are seeking highly qualified individuals to join our newly built AI-team as Machine Learning Engineers of different Specializations. We are dedicated to research and development in the field of machine learning within the design and test industry. As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to be the first to work on some of the most challenging technical problems and develop innovative ML solutions that will influence the future of Keysights products and business operations.

You'll be developing innovative ML solutions for our next-generation design and test products, enabling 6G. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams across Keysight to ensure that the AI/ML solutions are seamlessly integrated within our products.

We're looking for someone who is self-motivated, thrives in dynamic environments, quickly builds relationships, and adapts to change and ambiguity. Strong programming skills and experience crafting, prototyping, and delivering sophisticated algorithmic solutions are essential.

ML Engineers with Specializations in One or More of the Following Areas:

• Machine Learning in Communications and Networks
• Training, Developing, and Fine-Tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) on Custom Data for Code and Content Generation Tasks
• Signal Processing and Deep Learning in Communications/Networking
• Machine Learning Optimization and Design Synthesis in the Electronic Design Space
• Reinforcement Learning (Deep Q-Learning)
• Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs) and Transformers for Temporal Modeling
• Computer Vision

Responsibilities:

• Work with large datasets; extract and manipulate data using tools such as Spark SQL, command line, and scripting languages.
• Design, develop, validate, and maintain predictive models and pipelines using the latest machine learning technologies.
• Implement and deploy machine learning models to improve business metrics.
• Develop tools to enhance the development, deployment, and lifecycle of machine learning models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers and internal teams, to ensure alignment and success.
• Understand and prioritize customer needs, conveying this urgency to product development teams.
• Inspire and challenge development teams to achieve high performance sustainably.

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree with 1-3 years of experience or PhD degree
• In-depth knowledge of deep learning (DL) and statistical machine learning (ML)
• Strong understanding of predictive modeling and machine learning algorithms (supervised and unsupervised learning, classification, regression, clustering, CNN/RNN/LSTM/Transformer, etc.)
• Proficiency in programming with Python and C++
• Hands-on experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch

• Experience with the complete MLOps workflow, including data platforms, training infrastructure, and edge deployment
• Passion for developing intuitive, maintainable, and well-documented software tools/apps
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and independently explore new ideas to improve Keysight products and operations

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
