As a Financial Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the day-to-day financial flows that are essential to our business. You will manage treasury functions, process Bitcoin transactions, and inform trading strategies. You will prevent and analyze fraud and payments risk, ensuring that high-risk transactions are handled thoughtfully. You will become an expert on our internal ledger and data entries, ensuring we have sufficient reporting to monitor operational work streams. You will work closely with our Engineering and Product teams to align on the operational needs for our new and existing products. You will report directly to River's Director of Finance, ensuring that your insights and contributions are at the heart of our company strategy.
What you will do
Own day-to-day treasury and wallet operations by processing and tracking ACH batches, wire transfers, and Bitcoin transactions
Lead efforts to operationalize and improve payments processes through detailed documentation, process mapping, and process improvement
Manage relationships with capital markets partners, and identify areas for improvement in trade routing and strategy
Support payments risk functions by reviewing and investigating high-risk transactions and trends
Design and monitor reports and dashboards that track the effectiveness and efficiency of the daily, financial operations flows
Partner with product and engineering teams to automate routine workflows and build tooling that drives efficiency in financial operations at scale

Nice to haves
1-2 years of finance or operations experience at a high-growth tech company or financial services firm
Degree in Business, with specializations in Finance, Accounting, or Operations
Experience with SQL or Finance / Accounting ERPs
Familiarity with U.S. fiat payment rails, including ACH and FedWire
Understanding of and passion for Bitcoin

Salary range is $70,000 - $90,000 dependent on experience
