Job description

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY ASSISTANT
To Be Determined

To assist in the provision of speech and/or language services to students as required by individual education plans under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist.

DUTIES AND

RESPONSIBILITIES

Implements speech-language treatment goals and related activities under the direction of a licensed speech-language pathologist.

Records documentation of services and student performance.

Selects and prepares materials to implement treatment goals.

Performs checks and maintenance of equipment.

Performs other work-related duties as assigned.

SALARY

Starting salary for Bachelor's degree with SPC ($46,138)

May increase with additional education and experience.

REQUIREMENTS

Hold or be eligible for a Maryland license as a speech-language pathology assistant from the Department od Health and Mental Hygiene.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills.
