Responsibilities:
- Electrical design of power distribution, lighting, safety, and IT/AV systems for architecture.
- Complete construction drawings, calculations, cost estimates and specifications
- Respond to client questions and comments.
- Review contractor submittals and provide clarifications during construction.
- Manage, train and mentor electrical engineering / design staff.
- Scheduling of staff resources.
- Communicate and coordinate with architects, owners, other engineering disciplines, vendors, building officials, other consultants throughout the design phases of the building project.
- Manage project budgets and schedules within the contract and client s requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
- 8-12 years of experience in the design of electrical systems for institutional and/or commercial building systems
- Professional Engineering license
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Visual and MS Office software
- Interpersonal skills beneficial
- RCDD beneficial
