Job description

eTeam is looking for Some Local & Travel LPNs for the York PA area. We have 9 week contracts available in skilled nursing facilities in the area.

Work Location: York, PA

Shift: Start: 15:00:00 End: 23:30:00

**Full-time hours guaranteed weekly

Duration: 9 Weeks with possible (probable) extension offers; Excellent attendance is required.

Starting pay Rate: Pay packages starting at around $2200 per week plus + (variations within local or travel status

Job Description
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
  • Ensure that the individual service plan is followed; administer or supervise treatments prescribed by physician.
  • Respect and encourage the independence, dignity, confidentiality, and individuality of the residents and their family at all times
  • Make meaningful rounds to all residents, utilizing service plans; make rounds with physicians and record visits on charts.
  • Administer all intramuscular, sub-cutaneous injections; perform all in-house testing procedures; take and record vital signs.
  • Work with Activity Director, DON , and Nurse Aides in carrying out the daily activities program.
  • Receive or place calls to physicians to carry out, receive, questions on any physician orders.
  • Be familiar with emergency procedures, escalation processes, and inform Supervisor & Attending physicians
  • Handle the preparation, administration & inventory of prescribed medications; Order all new medications and refills;
  • General Supervision of prescribed dietary and fluid intake; report health concerns to DON & attending physician
  • Timely and accurately prepare incident reports.
  • Accurate & timely patient admission assessments and appropriate discharge documentation.
  • Chart residents status.during the shift in accordance with facility & state guidelines; escalate any acute issues to DON and/or attending phyaician
  • Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
  • Provide emotional and social support to residents & their family
  • Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns
  • Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents,safe transfer practices, and general observation throughout the facility
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures of the Community.
Requirements:
  • Pennsylvania LPN License - no disciplinary
  • BLS
