Description:

The Asset Manager reports directly to the Chief Investment Officer of the company and is responsible for the oversight of the companies real estate portfolio across multiple states.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversees the operation and performance of assets within our multifamily Portfolio. Coordinates the preparation and presentation of the property budget/business plan to include financial analysis, marketing, forecasting, positioning and recommendations. Follows through with implementation of the plan.

2. Reviews monthly/quarterly reports and reports to senior management critical issues related to the asset. Coordinates with leasing director on setting lease parameters for each asset.

3. Compiles and budgets capital allocations as required for approval.

4. Administers the management agreement with property management company and may include developing a transition plan for the management of new assets as required, and implementation of the plan.

5. Create dashboards to present summarized data.

6. Review leasing, marketing plan and rent structure for the assets.

7. Reviews, analyzes and prepares detailed financial analyses of existing portfolio assets and property specific lease transactions including, but not limited to, preparation of multi-year cash flow projections scenarios, lease analysis models, financial return analysis, etc.

Required Qualifications:

1. Undergraduate degree. (Concentration in business, finance, accounting, real estate or related field).

2. Five years experience as asset manager performing analysis, negotiation, and transactions with multifamily real estate.

3. Ability to work with financial concepts and perform financial analysis, ROI, and IRR calculations.

4. Strong presentation skills and project management experience.

5. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

6. Travel to various assets will be required.
