Job Description:

Title: Food Production Assembler/Worker (Onsite)

Location: Hershey PA 17033

Pay: $20/hr on W2

Multiple openings: 40 Candidates needed.

Shift: Rotational Shift of 2nd & 3rd shift:

  • 2nd shift- 2:30pm- 10:30pm
  • 3rd shift- 10:30pm-6:30am

Duration: 6 months Contract (Possible Hire)


***No Corp to Corp***

***Candidate Must be comfortable working Rotational Shift of 2nd shift- 2:30pm- 10:30pm and 3rd shift- 10:30pm-6:30am ***

The candidate will be working in Food Production assembly and will be assigned the various role and responsibilities. Below are the few roles and responsibilities listed by client. Candidate must be physically fit to perform duties and responsibilities. As there are 40 openings for the position anyone from Manufacturing, Production, Warehouse or Assembly environment are welcomed.


Responsibilities:

Basic Duties:

Tray Scraper/Magazine Supply

1. Wear and maintain gloves in a sanitary manner. Gloves need to be switched out as you rotate.

2. Supply cups for all cup setter magazines.

3. Clear cup paper stuck on a cupsetter head when necessary.

4. Scrape trays.

5. Keep cupsetter area clean at all times.


Cupper

1. Wear and maintain gloves in a sanitary manner. Gloves need to be switched out as you rotate

2. Ensure cup paper size is correct for product being run.

3. Ensure each tray cavity has received one cup paper. If there are missing cup papers, notify the employee filling up the magazines and the extruder operator.

4. Reposition all incorrectly deposited cup papers and remove extra cups which may have fallen or stuck together. Replace all stretched, cut, or pinched cup papers with an acceptable cup paper.

5. Clean Tonnaer screw when line is down for one shift or longer.


Picker

1. Wear and maintain gloves in a sanitary manner. Gloves need to be switched out as you rotate

2. Remove defective product from inspection belt and place into rework bin or stockfeed pan.

3. Watch for product jams at the picker, inspection belt, and main product belt.

4. Perform metal check every two hours while rotation person is present to help.

5. Reject large quantities of unacceptable product when necessary.

6. Clean metal detection probes & sweep platform.

7. Start and stop the Main line when necessary.

8. Perform metal detection check at the end of a production run.


Cleaning

1. Clean Tonnaer screw & housing when line is down for one shift or longer.

2. Clean work areas while line is down.


This description covers the most significant duties performed but does not exclude the performance of other minor related work assignments. The inclusion of other minor assignments would conform with the factor degrees assigned to the job.


Handpacker

1. Fill cases with required number of bags positioned properly.

2. Monitor integrity of bag seals.


Wrapped inspection

3. Perform metal checks.

4. Inspect wrapped product.

5. Reset Main Line after a wrapping stop.


Friendly s

1. Rotate through stations in a timely fashion.

2. Fill and seal cases.

3. Perform finished product quality tracking.

4. Record case count.


Required:

  • High School Diploma
  • Must be physically fit to perform duties and responsibilities
  • Ability to stand for long duration
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes


Preferred:

  • Someone from Manufacturing, Production, Warehouse or Assembly environment is Plus
