Job description
Summary PCN is looking for a seasoned DDI Architect/Engineer who is self-motivated and would enjoy the challenge of designing, transforming, and migrating complex DDI Infrastructure for large service providers, enterprises, and multinational clients. This role will be a hands-on technical position dealing with TCPWAVE and BlueCat transformation of large national and multinational companies.
Experience with TCPWAVE, BlueCat, BlueCat Edge and Microsoft is required. Must have expert understanding of Network Services, DNS (including DoT & DoH), DHCP, ISC BIND, NTP and Internet Protocols (TCP/UDP/IP v4 & v6)
Must have 5 years Designing/Build/Migration experience of complex DDI systems in enterprise environments.
Experience architecting, implementing and configuring OEM platforms TCPWAVE and BlueCat
Experience with Microsoft DNS & DHCP, as well as Open source such as ISC BIND and ISC DNS, etc.
Proven experience planning and executing migrations to or from the various DDI OEM platforms.
Experience working with Sr. Management supporting incident escalation bridges, as well as driving whiteboard and discovery sessions.
Experience monitoring alert notifications, as well as investigation and troubleshooting of issues
Experience leading Service Restoration and Root Cause Analysis Activities
Scripting and automation skills using Perl and Python is required.
Expertise with RESTful APIs, and tools to test them such as Postman
Knowledge of switches, routers, load balancers and firewalls and their interactions with DDI is a must
Knowledge of Operating Systems such as Windows, Linux, UNIX, etc.
Must be able to configuring & troubleshooting DNS & DHCP services
Willing to monitor ticket queues and implement Business as Usual (BaU) customer requests
Knowledge of how to test and implement upgrades and patches for DDI infrastructure
Knowledge of how to perform equipment refresh planning and implementation
Able to provide technical information and leadership for DDI services
Able to document support activities in service management platform
Able to develop and maintain customer specific DDI documentation
Able to provide account and platform specific training to team members
Able to identify opportunities for internal process enhancement
Able to support continuous improvement initiatives
Able to identify opportunities for automating repetitive tasks
Able to provide exceptional customer service
Willing to participate in on-call support rotation
