What You ll Do
In addition, you will:
Act as a key point of contact for plan sponsors, Sentry s sales teams, and Retirement Plan Education Specialists.
Assist or conduct quarterly education meetings for direct writer sales teams/regions.
Service large plans as assigned in conjunction with the Retirement Plan Education Specialists.
Oversee communication of plan service calls and reviews including plan administration, investments, audit and testing results, and corrective action needed to protect the tax qualified status of the plans.
Drive retention, improve average participation and deferral rates.
Evaluate and communicate test results to plan sponsors including, but not limited to, Average Deferral Percentage and Average Contribution Percentage (ADP/ACP) nondiscrimination and Top Heavy testing.
What it Takes
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of related retirement plan experience, management experience preferred
Poised public speaker with proven ability to engage and present to diverse audiences of all sizes.
Strong interpersonal presentation and organizational skills required.
Excellent verbal/written communication and listening skills.
Familiarity of ADP/ACP nondiscrimination testing; and retirement plan industry or financial/retirement plan sales and/or customer service related experience.
Current license to sell life and health insurance products or the ability to obtain a license in a reasonable amount of time and/or FINRA licenses where required.
Ability to organize, motivate, and direct a geographically separate staff.
Ability to meet the travel demands of the position and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
Ability to speak, write and understand Spanish and/or another foreign language is preferred.
Based on experience and qualifications, the pay range for this position in Michigan and Ohio is $86,800-$119,300 annually.
Based on experience and qualifications, the pay range for this position in Indiana is $82,460-$113,335 annually.
