Our current work surrounds developing innovative technological solutions for agricultural production while championing grassroots community efforts through educational programming. Have you been looking to make a meaningful impact through volunteer work while developing your professional skills?The Food for Thought Foundation seeks a volunteer who is passionate about program management and development. This volunteer will be responsible for developing quality assurance and evaluation measures for our flagship program, Farms for Thought.Volunteer Responsibilities:A volunteer in this role you will be expected to:Work with Food for Thought Foundation staff to develop internal evaluation processes that determine the effectiveness of our programming.Contribute to and iterate on educational materials to improve content quality.Work with Food for Thought Foundation staff to initiate the certification process, increasing the transparency and scalability of our programs.Contribute to the back-end efficiency of Farms for Thought by refining and streamlining the internal training process.Create evaluation criteria for food-insecure communities to ensure an equitable distribution of our programmingWork with the Food for Thought Foundation to research and develop a standardized food handling and distribution systemWork Hours and BenefitsVolunteers will have a 5-10 hour schedule Monday through Friday with the flexibility of scheduleQualifications/Skills:Verbal CommunicationTime, task, and project management skillsProfessionalismContent CreationCanvaArduino (preferred, but not required)How to Apply:Please submit your resume as a PDF attachment.
