Right of Way Project Manager

to work on projects based out of Columbus, OH. The selected candidate will have the flexibility towork remotely from their home office but must live within a 45-minute commute of Columbus, OH and will report to our Columbus, OH office about 5-10 times/month.ORC offers an amazing work environment surrounded by a vibrant team that is not only there to challenge and support you, but also will inspire you every day! At ORC, diversity matters, voices are heard, and leadership shows they care.What you will be doing:As a Right of Way Project Manager, you are responsible for day-to-day management and overall success of electric transmission Right of Way projects.The Project Manager will assist in establishing strong relationships with current clients and identifying potential opportunities. They are responsible for reviewing scope of work, developing and monitoring projectschedule, budgetand forecasting staffing needs, reviewing due diligence, compiling pricing and tracking progress throughout the life of projects. Must identify and implement department process improvements as necessary, provide technical assistance, resolve issues. Must include a minimum of three (3) years managing Right of Way projects

Understanding of project financialsPrior experience with creating/maintaining project schedulesMust be proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, Dropbox, and OutlookMust have an iOS or Android smartphone to be able to access ORC's systems.Valid Driver s LicenseBonus points if you have IRWA certifications, PMP, and/or Notary.Per diem and Relocation is not providedORC is one of the nation's oldest firms providing land acquisition, relocation and program management services for infrastructure projects. Substantial repetitive movements of the wrists, hands and/or fingers due to high amounts of computer usage and typing. Expected to spend long spans of time in front of a computer screen. Able to read, understand and interpret department related documents and data. Able to make quick decisions, present to staff and clients, have difficult conversations and supervise staff. The employee is required to move about inside the office to access files, office equipment and to interact with other members of the staff. This role requires the employee to travel regularly to meet with clients or vendors which involves time driving; sometimes for long durations. While meeting with clients and vendors, will need to be outdoors traversing different types of landscapes.
