Senior Property Manager

Job description

TSCG, a third party, commercial real estate company, located in Vienna, Virginia, is hiring an experienced Retail Senior Property Manager! This role is a combination of working in our Vienna office (Tysons Corner), visiting your properties/working from your properties, and working from home.

Candidate should be able to manage a portfolio with multiple retail centers, office, and industrial properties. Must work well in a fast-paced, team oriented, deadline driven environment. As a Senior Property Manager, you will be on call for emergencies at your properties. Travel is required to and from properties (properties are in Metro DC Area).

Qualifications Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Retail Property Management
  • Reliable transportation for traveling to client sites (properties in Metro DC Area)
  • Clean driving record and responsible driver
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with Yardi and MRI
  • Strong work ethic and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and stay organized
  • Ability to resolve problems with minimal supervision
  • Located in DC Metro/Northern Virginia area
  • CPM, RPA and/or other professional property management designation a plus
  • Experience with Building Engines or other Work Order software is a plus
Duties to include, but not limited to:
  • Monthly Property inspections
  • Monthly reports, including financial accountability
  • Rent collection and representation in court for legal proceedings as needed
  • Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors
  • Manage owner communications, including monthly conference calls
  • Oversight, coordination, and direct management of tenants and vendors for assigned portfolio, ensuring vendor and COI compliance
  • Engage in mentoring and providing direction to Property Managers, Assistant Property Managers, and support staff
  • Act as a leader and ambassador for your department and company
  • Provide feedback and advisement to Directors regarding support staff for evaluations and performance
  • Support Directors with high level projects and needs
  • Lease administration, enforcement and compliance, including working knowledge of the following: defaults, COIs, and gross sales
  • Accounting coordination including a working knowledge of the following: defaults, rent ups, annual recons, budgets, AR/AP coding and approval, collections, cash management, and property tax appeals
  • Construction Supervision for Landlord or Tenant build out and capital expense projects
  • Project Management and Bidding
  • Any additional projects or tasks as needed
