As a Global Supplier Manager, you will be responsible for leading a large strategic supplier or suppliers through strategies, techniques, models and processes that result in high-quality supplier support when providing goods and services. You will be collaborating with Supplier Managers, Category Managers and supplier account teams across multiple categories. You will engage in and own the development and implementation of supplier strategies to optimize cost, supply and quality. You will be also supporting critical initiatives, supplier performance management, global supplier coordination, sourcing activities and supplier relationships.

What's Encouraged Daily:

Supplier Management

* Participate in commercial supplier qualification activities to ensure the commercial development of strategic suppliers

* Lead cross-category and significant company-to-company critical issues; support category critical issues for assigned suppliers as needed

* Serve as the center of knowledge for assigned supplier(s) and share knowledge with key customers and members of the category teams to enable more effective planning, forecasting and execution

* Partner with the category team and collaborators to build comprehensive view of supplier performance

* Communicate key supplier management updates and decisions to multiple levels in the organization, including Executive Leadership

Cost Management & Analysis

* Identify and evaluate category-specific savings/revenue levers

* Drive category savings/revenue and scorecard metric targets

* Provide market intelligence and category price trends to relevant internal team members

* Use should-cost models for assigned categories that are benchmarked and relevant to the global marketplace

Negotiation

* Collaborate across categories to ensure unified negotiation plans

* Lead or participate in negotiations for contract extensions and renewals, renegotiation of prices, transfers, etc

* Lead sourcing events/RFQ process into bundled negotiation

* Incorporate savings targets and contract requirements into negotiations

* Develop a contract strategy for suppliers in assigned categories and build, negotiate, supervise and implement contracted terms and conditions

Business Partnering

* Collaborate with Customers to Deliver Strategic Solutions

* Develop and maintain expertise in the assigned supplier(s) through relationships with Category Director, Global Category Managers, and Category Supplier Managers

* Drive customer-centric approach to solving issues and representing Procurement team

What Sets You Apart:

* Proficient in data proficiency, customer management, and strategy development

* Experienced in a supplier management role, preferably in a semiconductor or tech industry

* Demonstrate experience in supplier management techniques

* Ability to lead without direct authority

* Strong in negotiation and communication skills

How To Qualify:

* Minimum 8-10 years of proven experience

* Bachelor or MBA or Master's degree in engineering

* Professional Procurement Certification (ISM, APICS, etc)

* Proficient in written and verbal communication and presentation skills
