The Solutions Architect is the bridge between business and technology/innovation. They are able to understand the business and identify business needs, and evaluate and select or develop appropriate technologies for the solution. This includes data architecture, integrations, applications, and other architecture patterns. The Solutions Architect has experience with both development and the project management process. The Solutions Architect will be responsible for managing 1-2 direct reports initially. They will report to the VP of Technology.

Objectives
- Become an SME of our technological infrastructure while searching for opportunities for improvement
- Streamline workflows, capabilities, and processes by implementing technical solutions
- Engage with key stakeholders, analyzing their current workflows and needs, keeping them abreast of new development, and guide their selection of new solutions
- Assist with guidance of the technical vision of the company, meeting short and long term business goals
- Maintain knowledge of new and emerging technologies
- Must demonstrate a clear background of delivering technical solutions for business needs
- Must demonstrate the ability to enforce appropriate change management processes and controls
- Must effectively champion technology and implementations in designated areas
- Ability to manage a controlled environment with redundancies/contingencies
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Communicates effectively with technical and non-technical resources
- 3-5 years of pertinent development experience
- 2-3 years of project management experience
- 8+ years of IT experience
- CS degree or equivalent preferred
