About the Position:

• Develop and implement engineering programs for career and professional development.
• Organize webinars and workshops.
• Represent the organization in the scientific community to cultivate relationships and collaborations.
• Identify industry trends and evaluate needs for new products, services, and member benefits.
• Secure sponsorships, grants, and partnerships with Foundations, Federal Agencies, and private companies for STEM initiatives.
• Manage the org-wide Career Center, ensuring high-quality job postings and revenue generation through sponsorships and career fairs.

About You:

• A bachelor's degree is required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in higher education career centers, membership organizations, or scientific societies.
• Experience in program development, marketing, membership, or career development is required.
• Skilled in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and key players.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required and experience with online CSM such as Boxwood is preferred.

Position Information:

• $35/hr-$40/hr, while temporary.
• $75K-$85K, when permanent.
• Hybrid onsite for 2 days/week.
• Office located in Washington, DC.
• Metro accessible!
• Approximately 10% travel annually.
