If so, we are seeking someone like you to provide loving care to our Residents who live in Personal Care.Opportunities with WVC:* Continued career growth and education opportunities, such as extensive dementia training by our very own Memory Care Educator* Use of our amenities, such as our fitness center, spa, cafes and swimming pools* Tuition Reimbursement* Scholarships* TM Events and Recognition* Plus many moreWage* $15.00-$18.00/hr based on experienceResponsibilities:* Models exemplary customer service and models MORE values toward Team Members and Residents.* Creates a positive, encouraging, and educational environment for Team Members.* Models professional communication with Residents, families and Team Members.* Flexible and adaptable to changing processes, assignments and workload.* Utilizes a person/Resident centered care approach when providing services to Residents.* Assists with giving guidance to newly hired Nursing Assistants and Resident Care Assistants using proper procedures and protocol.* Demonstrates clinical knowledge and skills within the scope of practice, included, but not limited to answering call bells, intercom system to determine Residents' needs in a timely manner.* Bathes, dresses and grooms (nail care, shaving, etc.) Residents.* Toilets Residents according to schedule and as needed.* Transports Residents or assists Residents to walk. Utilizes wheelchair foot pedals appropriately when transporting and stores them in wheelchair bag or in Resident closet when not in use.* Takes/records in PointClickCare (PCC) Resident's temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rates, pulse oxygen, height and weight as directed. Also records showers given to the Resident in PCC.* Administers, reorders, and monitors expiration dates on medication, as needed.* Collects specimens as directed by the nursing staff.* Assists with answering the telephone, arranging appointments and transportation, and gathering needed documentation for Resident appointments.* Changes bed linens, handles soiled linens and incontinent supplies appropriately to maintain infection control standards.* Keeps Resident rooms, common areas and spa rooms neat and clean.* Receives report from exiting shift and gives oncoming shift report.* Identifies and reports promptly any Resident skin care issues, medical or behavioral concerns and/or noted changes in Resident condition to the nurse.* Initiates and participates in Resident Therapeutic Engagement opportunities, including Linked Senior, where appropriate.* Complies with the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services regulations and Willow Valley Communities policies.* Attends Culture Coach and staff meetings as required by Team Leader.Qualifications:* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)* Care experience is preferred; excellent customer service skills required.Hours Per Week:* Part TimeSchedule:* Part Time all shifts* Every other weekend and holidaySLO111
