Patient Flow Liaison, Emergency Room

Job Description

Purpose & Scope:

The Patient Flow Liaison serves as the full-time liaison for the unit. The patient flow liaison's primary responsibility is to enhance the patient experience by facilitating high quality patient care to include timely communication of updates, efficient coordination of care, and patient follow up as needed. The liaison works directly with the charge nurse and unit director to prioritize responsibilities and then coordinates with the multi-disciplinary patient care team to address patient needs.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience:

Two years of equivalent experience is required,

Computer experience is required.
