Software Developer - PEO Soldier

Location: Northern Virginia, Ft. Belvoir

Security Clearance: DoD Secret Required

Position Date/Type: Immediately/Full Time

Salary: 100K-150K Annual; Commensurate with Education/Experience

As a Software Developer, you will be expected to meet with stakeholders to gather requirements for developing new business process automation solutions. You must manage projects from start to finish, to include gathering requirements, demonstrating your progress during scrums/sprint reviews, deployment, documentation, and continual service improvement. You must also be able to perform successfully in complex, unstructured situations.

You must have expert level proficiency with the whole range of Microsoft Office products as well as the Power Platform suite of applications and know how they can work in conjunction with each other: PowerApps, Power Automate, PowerBI are the primary applications used but with project requirements utilizing other tools might be necessary. Must also have expert knowledge of SharePoint development and administration. Other programming languages known are also very helpful; HTML/CSS, JavaScript, etc.

Major Duties:
  • Support US Army, PEO Soldier culture transformation in designing and developing MS Power Platform-based, enterprise-level solutions including process automation, workflow, report and dashboard development
  • Participate in all levels of the project lifecycle, from proposals through implementation, and operations / maintenance
  • Design and implement applications using the Power Platform and SharePoint: PowerApps, Power Automate, PowerBI
  • Design and implement custom applications leveraging PowerApps foundational technologies including connectors, forms, and flows
  • Graphic design work as needed
  • Any additional duties as needed to meet customer expectations
Certifications:
  • COMPTIA Security+

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
  1. Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate).
  2. SharePoint Online administration and development.
  3. Experienced in designing SharePoint Online sites pages.
  4. Office 365 administration and development.
  5. Good User interface development skills.
  6. Experienced with JavaScript, JSON, SQL
  7. Familiar with Microsoft Dataverse (Common Data Service).
  8. Familiar with Power Shell
  9. Familiar with Microsoft Azure

Education / Experience:

Preferred - BS in Technical Degree
